 Hibiscus Quilt
a kaleidoscopic vision of a pink hibiscus from bud to blossom.

The hibiscus was photographed in a studio setting, warped and posterized in post-production and archivally printed on paper that I painted with textured acrylic.

The quilt is composed of nine12x12” squares mounted on cradle board.  As all quilts have a border,  this one has a border composed of a ribbon of hibiscus buds.

Orchid Grid”
is a modular grid made up of six 12”x12” squares.
A study of pattern and color that frames itself in the Art Nouveau style.

The orchid was photographed in a studio setting, warped and posterized in post-production, archivally printed on paper painted with textured acrylic. Each square has up to three photographs wrapped in various depths of cradle board and mounted on a patterned background. The finished squares can be combined in a variety of combinations, horizontally, vertically or as a square.

“Magnolia Seedpod Quilt"
is a variegated view of the magnolia seedpod.

This highly manipulated magnolia  seedpod is viewed in a variety of complexities.
The magnolia seedpod was photographed in a studio setting, warped and posterized in post-production and archivally printed on paper that I painted with textured acrylic.
Each 8"X 8 "image is wrapped to a different depth on cradle board emphasizing pattern and form. The finished “quilt” is bordered in a frame with a singular
seedpod in a deep green ground.
