not(2)BIG, a bi-annual small arts juried competition.  A wide variety of artwork was submitted as there was no intended theme for this competition.  The only requirement was that the artwork had to be 12”x12” or smaller, including the frame.  Juror, Arturo Sandoval, Professor of Art, University of Kentucky, selected 40 finalist from over 370 artworks submitted from across the US, Asia and Europe.  Nearly half of the finalists are regional artists.  Mr. Sandoval looked for “artwork that pulls you in and guides you through the work”.
